Hi. This is a wee site dedicated to the sight's you can see in Shetland. Here you can see the beautiful scenery and the wildlife you find here. I have made an album for photo's of Lerwick. Lerwick is the capital town of Shetland. I've put in a small album showing the Lerwick museum for you to browse through.. It would be kind of you if you could make constructive comment's for improving the site..

As you can see I am quite an auld guy, nearly seventy. I am retired, I was a firefighter for 33 years. My wife Jean passed away two years past. so as I have always been interested in wildlife, I thought I needed another hobby to go along with the wildlife, so I took up amateur photography to pass the time away, I mainly take photos of birds, but I am very fond of Otters, I have been watching them for almost 30 years. it is a fact that at the edge of my village Otters have their Holt there.. Then there is the beautiful scenery you find all over the islands, so I started to take photos of the many Voes on Shetland..
