Really glad you and your o/h are coming here on holiday, i might be on the scottish mainland at the end of august, going to my daughters place.. If you and hubby want to have a meet with me then just head for my village, its called mossbank, just knock on any door and ask if they will point you in my direction, I can take you both and show you the best place to see the otters, i take it that you will have a car with you, you'll need one to get around.. any tips photography wise, well i'm just an amateur, just been doing it for two and a half years, probably the best thing to remember is the rule of thirds, and keeping the horizon level, your other half will know a lot more than me....

Spent time this morning looking at your scenery pics wish there was some way of knowing what the place names are,we are coming 8th till 22 nd so may take you up on that knid offer, yes husband is keen ameteur photographer member of our local camera club ..take care :-)

Wonderful website and awesome photos,we are coming to shetland in august for a fortnight ,i so hope we get to see some otters and anything else would be a bonus,my husband is heavily in to photography, any tips?

Some wonderful images George,I love the Red Throated Diver and Otters both of which I've been lucky enough to see on Scotland a few years ago!
